2003:
Signed as a free-agent by the Argonauts on February 28, 2003…Started in all 18 games for the Argos…2003 Playoffs Started on the defensive line for the Argos in the East Division Semi-Final against his former team, the B.C. Lions…made 2 DTs and had 2 sacks in the victory. Started in the East Championship…made one DT and knocked down a pass.
2002:
Played in all 18 games in his fourth season with the Lions…saw action on the defensive line in the Lions' 30-3 West Semi-Final loss to Winnipeg on November 10.
2001:
Made at least one tackle in 15 of 18 games…made a season-high four DTs in the Lions' 12-7 loss to Saskatchewan on July 21…had his second four tackle performance of the season in the Lions' 23-19 loss to Montreal on August 31…made two DTs in the Lions' playoff loss to the eventual Grey Cup Champion Calgary Stampeders.
2000:
In his first season with B.C. as a full-time starter, he earned his third Grey Cup ring and first with the Lions… July 13 in the Lions' 30-28 victory over Saskatchewan, he recorded his first career interception and made 5 DTs…Made 8 DTs in an overtime loss to Edmonton on October 1… played in both of the Lions' playoff victories, making a DT in the win over the Stampeders…in the Lions' 28-26 Grey Cup victory over Montreal, Cantor made two DTs and forced a fumble.
1999:
Cantor saw action in all 18 games during the regular season and started four games at DT… had a season-high five DTs in the Lions' 21-12 loss to Montreal on September 19.
1998:
After three seasons in Toronto, Cantor made the move West and signed as a free-agent with the B.C. Lions on February 16…in his first season with the Lions, he played in all 18 games…made three DTs in the Lions' 40-33 loss to Edmonton in the West Semi-Final.
1997:
In his third year with the Argonauts, Cantor played in 17 games during the regular season…finished the season third on the team in special teams tackles with 13…also had nine DTs, two forced fumbles and a quarterback sack on the season…played in both of Toronto's playoff games on the way to winning their second straight Grey Cup Championship.
1996:
Played in 18 games during the regular season backing up on the defensive line and patrolling the field on special teams…played in Toronto's 43-7 East Championship victory over Montreal… Also played in the 43-37 Grey Cup win over Edmonton.
1995:
As the runner-up to Jimmy 'The Jet' Cunningham for the Argonauts' Rookie of the Year nomination, Cantor had an outstanding first season with the Double Blue…finished second on the team in ST tackles with 10…played in all 18 regular season games…dressed as a back-up to Leon Hatziioanu for the first seven games of the regular season …recorded first CFL tackle (22/07/95) in 11-10 loss to Shreveport…recorded first QB sack and fumble recovery (09/09/95) in Toronto's 31-20 victory over Winnipeg.
College:
Cantor played five seasons with the University of Saint Mary's Huskies from 1990 through 1994 under the guidance of Larry Uteck…was a three-time CIAU All-Canadian and two-time J.P. Metras Trophy nominee with the Huskies during his five year career in Halifax…recorded three fumble recoveries, 60 total tackles and seven quarterback sacks during his senior season…was also credited with four pass knock downs and two blocked kicks…had initially enrolled at Jamestown College in North Dakota in 1989.
Personal:
Noah is married to Donna and has three children, Rachel, Maya and Wesley, who was born in January. He spends the off-season running Vera's Burger Shack, a small chain of restaurants in Vancouver. His favourite band is The Tragically Hip. Noah enjoys fishing and spends a lot of his spare time contributing to the community.
